I am Gaurav Meena, a Regional Provident Fund Commissioner - II with EPFO, India, currently expanding my expertise as a first-year M.Tech student at the Yardi School of Artificial Intelligence, IIT Delhi (graduating June 2026).
With a foundational background in Aerospace Engineering (B.Tech & M.Tech, IIT Bombay, 2007-2012), I'm passionate about continuous learning and full-stack development.
My current academic and research focus is on Generative AI, particularly exploring diffusion and VAE models for synthetic tabular data generation while ensuring data privacy and distribution integrity. I'm also keen on deepening my intuition for the mathematics underpinning AI models.

I also have past experience with C/C++, Java, and ASP.NET (~ one project). I'm proud to be an Arctic Code Vault Contributor through my earlier work with CodeEnvy, where I contributed to its initial repository design.
A few highlights from my learning and professional path:
First Year Project (B.Tech): Developed a C++ car racing game using EZwindows, with ambitions for a "Need for Speed" style experience.
First Internship: Gained early industry exposure by modifying and maintaining a hardware product-based website, earning my first paycheck.
First Full Websites (Pro Bono):
- Zephyr: The Aerospace Department festival website (IIT Bombay).
- Aawaaz: The Hindi Newspaper Group's website, supporting Hindi and English.
First Full Website (Paid): Broadvision.asia - A corporate-standard project during an internship.
First Data Analysis Win: Won an inter-IIT competition by analyzing and selecting optimal product features (from 2^12 scenarios) for maximum market share.
First Optimization Project (Dual Degree): Applied particle swarm optimization to find optimal parameters from thousands of scenarios.
First Corporate Job (Software Engineer): Gained 15 months of experience with C/C++, Java, networking tools, packet analysis, various databases (Informix, Sybase, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Node.js, AngularJS, Bootstrap, OpenLDAP, OpenSSL, Socket.IO for live dashboard projects.
First Freelancing (CodeEnvy): Developed a UI-based, highly interactive live dashboard using AngularJS and Twitter Bootstrap.
First Python Project (Freelance): Built a Django and Bootstrap application for gathering and analyzing startup information to recommend investment opportunities.

- I love adventure: trekking, rafting, and anything that gives an adrenaline boost!
