Proposed change

Fix an a bug where envoy_reader will return an incorrect zero value for current energy Production. envoy_reader also includes an enhancement to reduce the amount of retrievals that are done by the API.

I have checked that this PR is related to #42857 only because both PRs contain HTTP optimizations and should probably be released together to see the full effect.
