Ever wondered how many custom emojis your Slack workspace has? Curious about the most common words in emoji names, or whether your teammates prefer GIFs or static images? Want to see who creates the longest-named emojis? You’re in the right place.
This dashboard takes your Slack emoji data (not usage!) and turns it into a smorgasbord of dazzling charts, fun facts, and interactive elements. Any Slack user can use it, and the app runs ok browser local storage entirely—nothing is stored on any server.
- View, search, and inspect all emojis in a Slack workspace
- See a leaderboard of top emoji uploaders
- Bulk download a selection–or all–emojis for maximum portability
- Gain a deep understanding (or possibly more confusion) with beautiful charts and visualizations
Every company I've worked at has had one thing in common: an extremely robust library of custom Slack emojis. Slack provides no great way to explore this library, and it's frustrating to understand the provenance of a given emoji. Emojis are an expression of company culture, and teams deserve the ability to explore, understand, and celebrate the creativity that goes into their creation.
Here's a glimpse of what Emoji Studio can do:
- Next.js
- TypeScript
- shadcn/ui
- Chart.js
- Tailwind CSS
