Is not the "Datenfelder" / "data fields" tab what you are looking for?

There you can select existing data fields (at the bottom in grey) and edit the custom data fields. Please note, for the time being data fields are not yet 100% implemented.

Unfortunately this is not possible to delete default fields. For example "serial number" or "comment" - there might be some discussion which fields are really required and which maybe not and should become replaced by custom data fields so.

Okay, now I understand. I would agree to make heavier use of custom fields.

Required fields for sqStorage to function are "Description / Name", "Storage area", "Category", "Subcategory" and "amount". So by default "comment" and "serial number" could be marked as custom fields instead of being there by default.

Also, the option to set custom fields as "required" fields to input should be able to be set from inside the "custom fields" data fields creation view.

At the moment of writing this will be a heavier lift, because custom fields still need some work.
