Thanks for sharing your code. We used it in our neuroscience class as an example algorithm!
The pull request makes the package easier to install using pip. This is done by adding a setup.py and slightly restructuring the repository. I also added installation instruction. I hope these changes make it easier to install the repository and are useful.
