The model code is very similar to the SNLI model example. The dataset may need to be downloaded - did not test out that part of the code.

I run this code on my Mac and it is running fine. However, the code fails on Linux, both on CPU and GPU. I am running PyTorch version - '0.1.12_2'
You can run the code with:

python train.py 
python train.py --cuda

This is the error I get on CPU:

I tried uninstalling PyTorch and reinstalling it as well but did not work.

No, Mac only supports CPU but still the model does not run on Linux CPU either.

Hi,

The error that you are seeing here is because you give the embedding layer a label that is bigger than the number of class in the embedding layer.
You may want to double check that all element you give your Embedding layer are correct.

closing this, as Alban pointed out this is user error (even the error message is triggered correctly). You'll have to fix your code bugs. I think it working on mac but not linux probably is around the dataset you are using on either machines is maybe different (maybe linux only has partial dataset by mistake or is loading only partial dataset)

Codegen changes include:

* codegen improvement:
    i. allow non-root trivial reductions, allow empty/no-op fusion
    ii. fixes vectorization checks and size calculation
    iii. bank conflict handle improvement
    iv. enables transpose scheduler

    i. CI tests failure fixes

    iii. trivial forwarding supports added in codegen runtime

Fixes #SWDEV-507939

PR pytorch#1998 added some 0.9.x AOTriton integration code which is
incompatible with 0.8.2b shipped by current release/2.6.
