Hi, I'm a Rust and Fortran programmer mostly interested in developing software for linguistics and biological sciences,
and also working on (largely closed-source) artificial intelligence.
I'm particularly fond of mid-level programming languages and Unix-like operating systems.
My most important open-source project is lngcnv (a linguistic tool).
PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES
SELECTED PROJECTS
Linguistics
lngcnv – linguistics: display pronunciation, translate between dialects, convert between orthographies; support for multiple languages: English, Latin, Polish, Quechua, Spanish, Tikuna
Science
coprosize – coprolite research (paleontology and archaeology): estimate the producer's body mass based on coprolite diameter by the use of regression models
nucleob – bioinformatics: nucleobases and amino acids statistics
Miscellaneous
cargo-my-bin – a cargo subcommand displaying the contents of ~/.cargo/bin/
mars-t – Mars Sol Date & Martian Coordinated Time: a library and a CLI app
yt-dlp-repl – a frontend for yt-dlp providing an interactive shell mode (REPL)
