Unmaintained and never promoted from experimental. Tests are flaky and burning CPU time.

Distributed array methods like matrix multiply. I think @pcmoritz wrote it ages ago

this was the first ray application mentioned in ray birthday all hand ;)?

yes, it is nice that our API has been stable and it has been runnable this whole time :D

But it is good to remove it given nobody is using it and it consumes CI time. We shouldn't keep stuff around just for historical purposes haha.
