This mod is not compatible with old saves and require a new save. You may encounter some strange behaviour using the respec option while playing with an already used save.
This mod removes all skill trees learnt by default on all characters and adds a new npc in the starting tavern that can teach you any skill tree.
In details:
- You can choose up to two skill trees from
WeaponryandSorcery. - You can choose up to two skill trees from
Utility. - You start with all your stats at
10but with an extra3points to allocate wherever you want. - This npc can also teach you an extra if you have enough golds.
- For
1000 goldsyou can also reset all your ap, sp and learnt skills.
If you play with the Necromancy or the Druidism mod, you will also have the choice to unlock the Necromancy or the Druidism skill tree.
Currently this mod is available in English, Russian and Chinese.
Since this mod was made through MSL, you first need to install it and then patching the game with it. You can follow the official installation guide on the MSL documentation.
A video was made by Nylux to show how to install Neoconsole, if you prefer a video guide.
- Download the latest release of MSL.
- Unzip it.
- (Optional) Rename the data.win file in the Stoneshard folder with an other name so you'll have a backup if something went wrong.
- Download the latest
.zipof Character Creation. - Unzip it, you should have two files.
- Move the
CharacCreator.smlin theMSL/Modsfolder. - Run
ModShardLauncher.exe. - Click on the anvil icon on the leftside.
- Click on the folder icon on the topside. A dialog box should pop up.
- Select the
.winfile in the Stoneshard folder (data.winif you didn't rename it). - Enable the mod by checking the
Enablebox. - Click the floppy disk icon on the topside. A dialog box should pop up.
- In this dialog box, create a new
.winfile and save (data.winif you didn't rename it). - Move the
trainer.de2file in theStoneshard/dialogsfolder.
You can now play the game with the modded version !
If you encountered some troubles while trying to patch your game, first check if you move the trainer.de2 in the Stoneshard/dialogs folder.
