I'm a technical professional with a deep passion for Linux, sysops, and embedded systems. As a CTO and Director of Technology, I thrive at the crossroads of leadership, innovation, and hands-on engineering. My journey began in the 80s on an old Apple ][+, where I fell in love with programming and problem-solving.
These days, I focus on standalone code, automation, solving specific challenges, and proof-of-concept projects while my excellent team handles full application development. I spend much of my time on code reviews, technical project scoping, YAML configurations, and bespoke automation. CI/CD pipelines, Dockerfiles, and infrastructure tweaks are my bread and butter. While most of my professional work happens on GitLab, I use GitHub for personal projects, home automation, and curating excellent open-source software.
