Rust Course · Stage 1 Link Audit

Purpose
Fix or remove every dead/outdated link in the Rust for Solana course and tidy the related Markdown.
This creates a clean baseline before we begin the Stage 2 structure-and-timing review.

✅ Changes in this PR

File / Area Summary of fixes
teaching-resources.md • Removed dead links
• Replaced with current equivalents (official 2024-25 docs)
• Converted raw URLs to Markdown links
• Deleted stray ~~ strike-through markers
• Normalised bullet indentation
Module files (week-01 → week-15) • Click-tested 137 external links
• Replaced, deleted and added 68 broken or redirected/incorrect/missing URLs
• Upgraded http → https where available
• Added missing Rustlings / Exercism links
• Standardised nested bullet formatting and proper markdown formatting
Consistency pass • Added edition / year metadata, ISBN to book refs
• Ensured all links are public & non-paywalled

Result: In the audit sheet, columns URL Check Done = Y and Broken Links Fixed/Removed = Y for every Rust row (see Rust Audit tab).

🔜 Stage 2 Preview – Structure & Fit Review

  1. Lesson flow – confirm week-to-week progression (e.g., generics → traits → iterators).
  2. 3-hour fit – time-box each session; flag any > 180 min.
  3. Homework alignment – verify each assignment reinforces the lesson content.

These items will be handled on a new branch: rust-structure-pass.

  • Only Markdown changed – no code logic touched.
  • Replacement links verified on 27 Jun 2025 (Africa/Lagos).
  • If you prefer alternative sources, comment inline and I’ll adjust before starting Stage 2.
