This project is a part of an open-topic course, focusing on studying and simulating the operation of sun sensors, emphasizing both algorithm development and implementation on embedded systems using STM32.
Prototyping algorithms for pose estimation of the MoonRanger Lunar Rover. Flight code was based off these tests.
This Sun Sensor module is designed for fine sun vector detection on a CubeSat using position-sensitive detectors (PSDs). The sensor includes low-noise amplification, real-time processing via an ultra-low-power STM32 microcontroller, and SPI communication to the OBC or EPS.
