Didn’t catch the end; I ran screaming from the theater in terror as a train approached the screen.

Pete Puma is the most fucked up guy in all of Looney Tunes. I do not say this lightly. He’s so stupid that the comedy takes on an avant-garde hue. Bugs should not be doing this. People should be stepping in. His voice seems to be from no region on earth. You do not recognize Pete Puma because he resembles nothing, nobody. It’s sometimes important to step back and remember who these shorts were made by and who they were…

Exists at a beautiful intersection between Dirty Harry and Austin Powers. If it was made today it would have jokes about safe spaces and pronouns. But that's the joy of it. It wasn't made today. It was made in 1993 when Glenn Shadix was alive.

Thank GOD Tim Burton made this movie in 1988 and not 2008. Can you imagine what a piece of shit this would’ve been with a ton of green & purple CGI swirls and Johnny Depp as Beetlejuice? Goddamn.

    Sunset Boulevard

When I first moved to New York I lived in a rent controlled apartment in Chelsea with a 65 year old woman who used to wake me up at three in the morning to tell me about the 70s and who I’m about 80% sure tried to poison me when I was moving out. Was a very stressful living situation but ultimately it was worth it because it allowed me to understand this movie on a level none of you could ever imagine.
