Jeff Okudah HOU CB
Vikings' Jeff Okudah: Signs with Minnesota
15m agoOkudah agreed to a one-year deal with the Vikings on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Okudah will head to his fourth team in as many years, hoping to rejuvenate his career after suffering a hip injury last season that held him out nine games. The 2020 first-round pick joins a retooled Minnesota secondary, which managed to retain Byron Murphy on a massive deal at the eve of free agency, but otherwise lost Shaquill Griffin, Stephon Gilmore and Fabian Moreau to the open market. The 26-year-old corner has only appeared in 49 percent of games through his first five seasons.

Matt Milano BUF OLB
Bills' Matt Milano: Restructures deal
34m agoMilano agreed to restructure his contract with the Bills on Tuesday, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Milano agreed to shorten his contract with the Bills by a year, leaving him with one year remaining on his deal. It's worth noting the restructure also amounts to a pay cut freeing up roughly $6 million in salary cap space, but the veteran can earn that back in incentives. The 2022 All-Pro linebacker has spent his first eight seasons in Buffalo, only appearing in nine games the last two seasons due to injury.
-
Siran Neal MIA DB
49ers' Siran Neal: Moving to NFC
13h agoThe 49ers are signing Neal to a two-year contract, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
To this point, Neal had spent his entire NFL career in the AFC, playing six seasons with Buffalo and one with Miami. He's worked almost strictly as a special teams ace in recent campaigns, logging fewer than 60 regular-season defensive snaps and more than 300 special teams snaps each of the past three years. Neal will likely take on a similar role in San Francisco.
-
Travis Homer CHI RB
Bears' Travis Homer: Returning to Chicago
15h agoHomer (hamstring) signed a one-year, $2-million deal with the Bears on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The running back will remain with the team that he played for during the 2023 and '24 campaigns. Homer missed Chicago's last three games of 2024 with a hamstring injury but appears to be healthy again. He played more on special teams than offense in each of the last two seasons, recording just six carries for 23 yards and three catches for 11 yards between the two years.
-
Isaiahh Loudermilk PIT DE
Steelers' Isaiahh Loudermilk: Staying with Pittsburgh
17h agoLoudermilk agreed to a one-year deal with the Steelers on Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The rotational defensive lineman played in 16 regular-season games and Pittsburgh's only playoff game last year, recording 17 tackles (10 solo) in the regular season and three (two solo) in the playoff loss to Baltimore. The 2021 fifth-round pick of the Steelers made a career high 23 tackles (16 solo) during his rookie season.
-
Lane Johnson PHI OT
Eagles' Lane Johnson: Signs through 2027
17h agoJohnson signed a one-year contract extension through 2027 on Monday.
Johnson will now make an additional $8 million over the next two years and an additional $30 million in guarantees, per Adam Schefter of ESPN. Schefter also noted that the five-time All-Pro tackle will make $48 million, including $40 million guaranteed, over the next two years. The 2013 first-round pick was named an All-Pro for the fourth consecutive season in 2024 and has started all 158 games he's played in during his career.

Alex Verdugo NYY LF
Alex Verdugo: No MLB offers in free agency
5m agoVerdugo has yet to receive an offer for a major-league deal since becoming a free agent in November, a league source tells Brendan Kuty of The Athletic.
Verdugo lacks the power profile most teams value in corner outfielders, but as an under-30 player with a career 101 wRC+ over parts of eight seasons in the majors, it comes as a surprise that he apparently hasn't been offered anything more than a minor-league deal throughout the winter and spring. Given his track record in the big leagues, Verdugo has understandably been unwilling to sign what he perceives as a below-market deal, but he may have to wait for a team's outfield depth to be tested by injuries early in the season before he gets an offer to his liking. While he waits for an opportunity, Verdugo has reportedly kept himself in playing shape by training on his own at his home in Arizona.

Romy Gonzalez BOS 2B
Red Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Undergoing MRI on oblique
16m agoGonzalez will undergo an MRI on Tuesday after feeling tightness in his right oblique Monday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Gonzalez "feels like there's nothing there" but wanted to get tested as a precaution. Any injury to the oblique is cause for some concern, but at the moment, the Red Sox appear to be viewing Gonzalez as day-to-day. More will be known about Gonzalez's condition after the MRI results are in. If healthy, Gonzalez will see some starts versus lefties this season for Boston.

Miguel Rojas LAD SS
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Fills in for Betts in opener
20m agoRojas started at shortstop and went 1-for-4 with a base hit in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Cubs in Tokyo.
Rojas is expected to fill a utility role this season, but he was included in the Opening Day lineup as a replacement for Mookie Betts (illness), who was sent back to the United States after struggling to bounce back from a bout with flu-like symptoms, which caused him to drop around 15 pounds. According to David Brandt of the Associated Press, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that he plans to have Rojas start at shortstop in both games in Tokyo, so expect the 36-year-old to remain in the lineup Wednesday. The Dodgers are anticipating that Betts will be ready to play in their domestic season opener March 27 versus the Tigers.
-
Javier Sanoja MIA SS
Marlins' Javier Sanoja: May have won roster spot
20m agoSanoja appears ticketed for the Marlins' Opening Day roster with Jesus Sanchez (side) set to begin the season on the injured list, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.
The 22-year-old made his big-league debut last season and saw action at four different spots on the diamond (second base, shortstop, center field and left field) during his 15 appearances with the Marlins. Sanoja will have a similar role to begin the 2025 campaign, and he hasn't looked overmatched at the plate this spring either, batting .296 (8-for-27) with a 4:3 BB:K. Should he find his way into consistent playing time, the 5-foot-7 Sanoja isn't going to supply any power, but he might be a fantasy contributor in stolen bases -- he went 17-for-24 on the basepaths between Double-A and Triple-A in 2024, and swiped 31 bags in 102 games at Single-A Jupiter the season before.
-
Dane Dunning TEX SP
Rangers' Dane Dunning: Could begin season in minors
20m agoDunning's "stock only seems to continue slipping" and he could begin the season in the minors, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Given the expected makeup of their Opening Day rotation, the Rangers have a big need for relievers capable of throwing multiple innings. It's a quality Dunning can provide, but it sounds like he might be on the outside looking in for a rotation spot, anyway. Dunning posted a 5.31 ERA over 15 starts and 11 relief appearances for Texas last season and has minor-league options remaining.
-
Evan Carter TEX LF
Rangers' Evan Carter: Trending toward making roster
26m agoCarter has "eased concerns about tentativeness in his swing" following a good showing in a recent minor-league game and several hard-hit balls during Cactus League play, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
Grant writes in his latest Opening Day roster projection that the idea of Carter not making the team "seemed to be gaining momentum," but it appears the young outfielder's stock is trending back up. Carter is slashing only .222/.300/.296 with no home runs in 11 Cactus League games this spring, while his competition for the center-field job, Leody Taveras, is batting .237/.310/.500 with three long balls. Both players appear likely to crack the Opening Day roster, but it's not clear what the playing time split in center field between the two will look like.

Peyton Watson DEN SF
Nuggets' Peyton Watson: Fares well as starter
13m agoWatson finished with 13 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-6 FT), five rebounds, one assist, four blocks and one steal in 35 minutes during Monday's 114-105 victory over the Warriors.
Christian Braun (foot), Jamal Murray (ankle) and Nikola Jokic (elbow) sat out Monday's game, but they are considered day-to-day. Watson was pretty quiet coming into Monday's game, and he's now averaging 6.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.4 blocks in 20.2 minutes over his last eight outings.
-
Spencer Jones DEN SF
Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Sees 19 minutes in win
15m agoJones contributed six points (3-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one block and one steal over 19 minutes during Monday's 114-105 victory over Golden State.
Christian Braun (foot), Jamal Murray (ankle) and Nikola Jokic (elbow) were all sidelined Monday, allowing Jones to log a career-high 19 minutes. He made the most of his limited run, but the same can be said about guys like Hunter Tyson and Vlatko Cancar. Fantasy managers can continue to monitor Jones' progress from the wire.
-
Vlatko Cancar DEN SF
Nuggets' Vlatko Cancar: Sees extended run
17m agoCancar had five points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal over 24 minutes during Monday's 114-105 victory over the Warriors.
With Christian Braun (foot), Jamal Murray (ankle) and Nikola Jokic (elbow) were all sidelined Monday, Cancar saw some rare rotation minutes Monday -- Cancar saw a combined nine minutes in three previous March appearances. Fantasy managers shouldn't chase this line from Cancar with those three injured players considered day-to-day.
-
Hunter Tyson DEN SF
Nuggets' Hunter Tyson: Fares well as starter
19m agoTyson ended with nine points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, two assists and two steals over 20 minutes during Monday's 114-105 victory over the Warriors.
Christian Braun (foot), Jamal Murray (ankle) and Nikola Jokic (elbow) were all sidelined Monday, allowing Tyson to make his first career start. All three of those players are day-to-day, but they could get some maintenance in the final weeks as the Nuggets look to keep them fresh for the playoffs. Tyson will be on the streaming radar only when the Nuggets are very shorthanded.
-
Keegan Murray SAC PF
Kings' Keegan Murray: Notches 16 points
22m agoMurray registered 16 points (6-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and two steals in 33 minutes during Monday's 132-122 victory over Memphis.
Domantas Sabonis (ankle) left this game early, and it's not clear if he'll miss additional time. The Kings have a back-to-back set coming up Wednesday, and Murray could have more usage coming his way with Sabonis' status in jeopardy. Murray has been pretty quiet lately, averaging 12.1 points on 42.0 percent shooting over his last seven outings.
-
Jae'Sean Tate HOU SF
Rockets' Jae'Sean Tate: Sees 22 minutes off bench
24m agoTate registered seven points (3-5 FG, 1-2 3Pt), seven rebounds and one assist across 22 minutes during Monday's 144-137 overtime win over the 76ers.
Tate has eclipsed 20 minutes in back-to-back games for Houston, taking advantage of some extra minutes with Amen Thompson (ankle) out. In those two games, Tate has averaged 7.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers. He's trending up as a streaming option in very deep leagues.
-
Ethen Frank WAS C
Capitals' Ethen Frank: Back at practice
5m agoFrank (illness) participated in Tuesday's morning skate after missing Monday's practice, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.
Frank has been a healthy scratch for the last four games and may sit again versus Detroit on Tuesday. He has accounted for four goals, seven points, 21 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and 10 hits through 22 NHL outings this season.
-
Juuse Saros NSH G
Predators' Juuse Saros: First off at morning skate
9m agoSaros is slated to start against the Blues on Tuesday, per Emma Lingan of The Hockey News.
Saros will make his 50th appearance of the campaign Tuesday -- he's sporting a 16-26-6 record, 2.92 GAA and .897 save percentage. He was on the losing end of a low-scoring affair against the Ducks in his last start, which followed up a three-game winning streak. The Blues have played well lately, going 8-2-1 in their last 11 games.
-
Linus Ullmark OTT G
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Set to start in Montreal
15m agoUllmark will be between the road pipes Tuesday in Montreal, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Ullmark has been stellar recently, winning each of his last five appearances while turning aside 128 of 140 shots on goal during the streak. The Swedish netminder lost all four of his outings in February, but he's stepped up his game at a critical point in the season for the Sens, posting a 6-0-1 record, .913 save percentage and 2.69 GAA over seven contests in March. Ullmark is 3-3-0 against the Canadiens in his career.
-
Petr Mrazek DET G
Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Tough task Tuesday
22m agoMrazek will patrol the road crease against the Capitals on Tuesday, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.
Mrazek posted an 18-save shutout in Sunday's 3-0 win over Vegas. Since being acquired in a trade from Chicago, the veteran netminder is 2-1-0 with a .920 save percentage and a 2.01 GAA across three contests. He has a tough assignment Tuesday against a Washington club that has generated 3.63 goals per game this season, the best mark in the NHL.
-
Alex Tuch BUF RW
Sabres' Alex Tuch: Scores game-winner in OT
24m agoTuch tallied the game-winning goal and registered five shots on net in Monday's 3-2 overtime win against the Bruins.
With 11 seconds remaining in the extra period, Tuch tipped a shot from Owen Power into the back of the net to seal the win. Monday's winning goal helped Tuch eclipse the 50-point mark on the season with 26 of the tallies being goals. He currently ranks fourth on the Sabres in points and trails JJ Peterka by one tally. While Tuch has 10 points in his last 13 games, he hasn't registered an assist since before the 4 Nations Face-Off. Tuch offers great value in fantasy ahead of the postseason and can elevate his value to another level if he can up his playmaking down the stretch.
-
Spencer Knight CHI G
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Facing Seattle
28m agoKnight will draw the home start Tuesday against the Kraken, according to Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio.
Knight has dropped back-to-back games after winning his first two outings with the Blackhawks since being acquired in a trade from the Panthers. He's posted a solid .928 save percentage and a 2.24 GAA with Chicago so far. Seattle is tied for 14th in the NHL in 2024-25 with 2.97 goals per game this season.
