Raptors' Jared Rhoden: In G League through Monday
Rhoden was assigned to the G League's Raptors 905 on Thursday and will be unavailable for Toronto's next three road games, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
After inking a two-way deal with Toronto on March 4, Rhoden has been active for each of the Raptors' five games since his signing. He's been a staple in the rotation for each of those contests, averaging 13.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 29.2 minutes per game. Despite his strong production, the Raptors will send Rhoden to the G League for the weekend since his two-way contract allows him to be active in just seven of the NBA club's remaining 16 games. Rhoden will thus be out for Friday's game at Utah, Sunday's game at Portland and Monday's game at Phoenix before potentially rejoining the Raptors for the final game of their road trip Thursday at Golden State. In the meantime, Rhoden will continue to stay conditioned by playing for the 905 on Saturday and Monday versus the Windy City Bulls.

Raptors' Jared Rhoden: Dominant in second NBA start
Rhoden logged 25 points (9-19 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 12 rebounds, five assists and four steals across 43 minutes during Wednesday's 118-105 win over the 76ers.
With the Raptors riddled with injuries, Rhoden drew a second straight start while Jamison Battle made the first start of his NBA career Wednesday. While Battle struggled from the field, Rhoden rose to the occasion with a a career-high 25 points while registering the first double-double of his young career. Rhoden is eligible to play 10 more NBA games as a two-way player, but he should continue to see a healthy workload as long as multiple Raptors players -- including Scottie Barnes (hand) and Jonathan Mogbo (nose) -- are sidelined due to injuries.

Raptors' Jared Rhoden: Receives 20 minutes in win
Rhoden ended Tuesday's 114-113 win over the Magic with four points (2-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt), two rebounds and one block across 20 minutes.
Fresh off signing a two-way deal with the Raptors, Rhoden played by far the most minutes of his six appearances at the NBA level on the season. He benefited from Toronto being without six players Tuesday, but once the team is healthier, Rhoden could see most of his opportunities in the G League with the Raptors 905. Toronto has 20 games remaining on its schedule, and Rhoden is eligible to be active for just 11 of those contests.

Raptors' Jared Rhoden: Nets two-way deal
Rhoden agreed to a two-way contract with the Raptors on Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Rhoden's 10-day contract with the Raptors expired Saturday, but the organization saw enough from the third-year forward during his brief time in the NBA and is more extended action with the G League's Raptors 905 prior to that to keep him around as one of its three two-way players. The 25-year-old will be eligible to be active for just 12 games at the NBA level for the rest of the season, so he could frequently move between Toronto and the 905.

Jared Rhoden: Hits free agency
Rhoden became a free agent Saturday after his 10-day contract with the Raptors expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Rhoden made one one-minute appearance with the Raptors over the course of his 10-day deal. The third-year wing had been playing for the Raptors' G League affiliate, Raptors 905, prior to signing his contract Feb. 19, so he could remain in the organization even if Toronto doesn't bring him back on a second 10-day pact.

Raptors' Jared Rhoden: Gets 10-day deal
Rhoden agreed to a 10-day contract with the Raptors on Wednesday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Rhoden has been a standout player for Toronto's G League affiliate, Raptors 905, since joining the club in December following a stint as a two-way player with the Hornets to begin the season. In 18 appearances with the 905, Rhoden averaged 15.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.3 minutes while shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc. Even though he'll join the Raptors ahead of Friday's game against the Heat, Murphy relays that Rhoden could still spend some time with the 905 during the course of his 10-day deal.

Jared Rhoden: Dropped by Charlotte
The Hornets are expected to waive Rhoden (shoulder) on Sunday, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Rhoden will cede his two-way spot to Isaiah Wong, a second-year point guard who will help shore up the Hornets' depth in the backcourt while LaMelo Ball (calf) and Tre Mann (back) face multi-week absences. After attending training camp with the Raptors on an Exhibit 10 deal, Rhoden was waived shortly before the start of the regular season and claimed by the Hornets, who converted him to a two-way deal. He appeared in just four games with the NBA club all season and hadn't appeared in any of the G League Greensboro Swarm's last four contests while contending with a shoulder injury.

Pistons' Jared Rhoden: Lackluster rookie year
Rhoden finished his rookie campaign with averages of 3.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per contest across 14 games.
Rhoden had logged just 12 minutes of NBA action before playing in 13 of the team's final 19 games, where he was a beneficiary of numerous rotation players sitting out. In limited action, the 23-year-old didn't really impress, but he was trending in the right direction to close the season, seeing at least 20 minutes and grabbing at least four rebounds in each of the last three contests.

Pistons' Jared Rhoden: Logs career-high 34 minutes
Rhoden contributed 10 points (4-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt), six rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals over 34 minutes during Friday's 122-115 win over the Pacers.
Rhoden stepped into a larger role Friday, delivering career-high numbers across the board. While this time of the year is certainly frustrating for anyone still playing fantasy, catching a glimpse of young players who otherwise would have remained sidelined is a real positive. As with just about anyone on the Pistons roster, Rhoden is worth considering for streaming purposes should he land a similar role in their final game of the season Sunday.
