The beauty of a sketchbook is experimentation.
I deviated dramatically from my typical approach on this one. Usually I draw the picture in pencil first, then ink it, and then color it. But this time I threw down a bunch of different watercolors then sketched on top of that. I added more color once inked because I wanted to fill in certain areas.
It was pretty unnerving because I was worried about needing to erase lines like I usually do, many times, whilst composing the image, but it all worked out in the end. I'm pretty pleased. Although, looking back now, I wish I had chosen different colors.

In year 2025, I have decided to participate in the challenge #2025in2025 of doing 2025 km by foot within the year of 2025.
Additional condition is that only distance that are at 1 km long are counted. Since lots have the goal of #10ksteps daily which equates to about 7-8 km which would make the challenge too easy.
On average this means 39 km per week.

I read 20 books this year, which is better than my initial goal of at least 12! It was a mix of science nonfiction and science fiction mostly. Here they are! My goal for 2025 is to read at least 20.
Some of my favorites were The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks and Forty Thousand in Gehenna.
