Registered for #Wero. Hope it becomes somewhat of a replacement for #Paypal in the long run, although the international quality (like, outside of Europe) will probably only be really satisfied by sth. like #Taler.

Anyway, anything *but* Paypal is already an improvement. Now we "just" need all banking apps to work outside of the god damn #Google ecosystem. Haha… ha… oh dear…

Wie ist der Stand der Dinge, gibt es immer noch keine #Zahlungsanbieter, die einigermaßen die #Privacy der Kund:innen achten? Was ist der datenschutzfreundlichste Kompromiss, ohne komplett auf einen Onlineverkauf verzichten zu müssen?

• Mollie
• Klarna

Sie alle klingen mir eher nicht vertrausenswürdig und ich habe leider bei allen bezüglich privacy nur negatives gehört. Nur was kann man tun? Wer ist das kleinste Übel? habt Ihr Alternativen?

Ich würde mich über Tips, Hinweise und Boosts freuen.

PS: es wird höchste Zeit, dass endlich der #Taler Realität wird!

🇪🇺 @NGI_Taler announced a grant to Adorsys (DE) to develop support for @Taler in the Open Banking Gateway software with oversight by an unnamed Deutsch bank.

The grant work will lower the effort for financial service providers to support their customers using Taler digital wallets. Taler is a open source, privacy-preserving digital payment system gaining traction in Europe.
