Here is a Flute that I made.
It is designed much like a Native American flute.
It is tuned to a low D4 (294hz) and can play about an octave and a half.
Made from northern white pine which I harvested from an old tree and black leather binding. : ]

The quray is an interdental rim-blown #flute, which I consider to be the most difficult flute type. It's often played with a vocal drone, resulting in a characteristically rich and buzzy timbre. Originally it was made from, and named after, the quray plant (Pleurospermum Uralense) and made according to palm widths for the overall length and finger widths for the hole placement.

This is a reconstruction #palaeolithic flute based on the find at Grubgraben, Austria, 1994. It's attributed to the Epigravettian culture and dated 23,000-20,000 BP (according to updated research).
