We have started our journey and lost most of our footage.... - videos.trom.tf/w/5XT3pQdsFVQmR…
These are the first days on the road for us, and the experience was not the best. We went to Deltebre, a very weird place...we were so happy to move away from it. But we also experienced some nice other places on the way there.
So today is not going entirely to plan.
The set of additional #solarpanels I connected up refuse to give us juice. I tried to trace the fault and got jack shit info because my cheap ass 19 year old #multimeter is (confirmed by many tests now) not working any more. Its fuse is fine too, as is its #battery. It just displays zeros.
So add to the list of unexpected expenses and delays one new multimeter...
#mutualaid is our lifeline to #selfsufficiency so we can help others. Can you help us out with our expenses for...?
Multimeter: $7-8 at Harbor Freight
Crimp connectors: $?
Tyres: ~$1200 (Vulpibus)
Refilling fuel: ~$100
Refilling my overdraft: ~$500
Refilling my other overdraft: ~$250

This is what we did before starting our adventure (lenghty update) - videos.trom.tf/w/ivyg4KLX2LVmD…
We know this is a very lenghty update but we wanted to showcase what we did for the past 2 months to prepare for our adventure. We put more batteries, more solar panels, new mattress and more! 😃
Oh this is the first time I’ve seen one of Bam the #Roadtrek‘s twins (same age and spec save Bam has leather seats) for sale.
Seems to be in better shape with less paint peal and far fewer mods and bodges. Asking price is about the same as when we bought in 2012.
They might want to push the Canadian 🇨🇦 heritage more 🤷♂️
We are in the south of Spain now and we will take it easy. We drive like 60km every other day, so we can get to see some nice places and relax more.
And as much as I like cool places, I also LOVE to stay somewhere where we have access to water/amenities for the motorhome, where is no one, and is nice enough so I can focus on my computer work!
We here now:
Around Cordoba. We will stay for a few days in this place because there is a storm coming to the entire Spain and there will be lots of rain. So we need a safe place to be in.
We have our batteries quite full, the fridge is full, water infinite, unlimited satellite internet. And now I am working on TROMjaro, will add new stuff to VideoNeat, and will work to make more videos for TROMhome. For me, this is super relaxing. 😀
The view from our motorhome today:
Yeah I got a headache driving here because it took us 6 hours to also stop buy food, put gas, etc., But man....what a fucking view...
Before this place we stayed in another one, so close to nature. We stayed for 3 days because we liked it so much...
Went for a long hike through the mountains and some waterfalls 😀
We will publish videos about all of these only on our Peertube channel - videos.trom.tf/c/tromhome/vide… - no BS youtube. Straight to Peertube! 😀
From tomorrow on we will meet with some of the most wonderful TROM friends in the south-ish of Spain 😀. So excited to see @Roma and @aaron
I really liked the past few days with the motorhome...thats what I want: nature, relax, dont rush, calmness....
Motorhome DONE (7): The 3.2 meters long object we could not do without 😀 - videos.trom.tf/w/rc4GYZuXuhx4d…
We needed a ladder because the one that is attached to the motorhome is really not that good and useful. This is the last video in this series of "motorhome done", just to complete the tour 😃. Next videos will be a lot more interesting 😃.

Thanks to its stunning coastline, Whangamatā is a popular summer destination. Active relaxers can set off into the surrounding forest trails, while those seeking leisure can spend the day at one of many little beaches tucked along the coast, such as …BYTESEU (Bytes Europe)
Motorhome DONE (6): Our Shower is Amazing
You know, to be able to take a hot shower in a 5.5 meters long home, is quite something. And to have the comfort to do it in a way that feels like just a normal house. For us it was very important to get a motorhome that has a proper bathroom. But we had to also fix a bunch of things with this bathroom...
We love our shower 😀

You know, to be able to take a hot shower in a 5.5 meters long home, is quite something. And to have the comfort to do it in a way that feels like just a normal house. For us it was very important to get a motorhome that has a proper bathroom. But we had to also fix a bunch of things with this bathroom...
I just discovered a battery that was nerfing. We have 6 in the motorhome, all showing 12 volts on open circuit tests, but something was dragging power overnight to the point where equipment would start shutting down - including K's CPAP. I started load testing them and the first one checked showed a bad cell. Not collapsed, just not holding any charge. Connected my high-tech test equipment (a 45-year-old Fluke meter across a high-power L.E.D. strip removed from a discarded light bar) and the battery immediately dropped from 12.5 volts to 9.5.
Mind you, it's 6 years old, so we've got more than our money's worth from it. It's just a bummer that I have to buy a new one; lead-acid batteries are still expensive, even though LiFePo is more popular these days.
So, web surfing I go; I can buy a new battery, with free shipping to our daughter's house, and I get it quicker and at half the price (literally) of a locally-sourced, overseas manufactured, equivalent.
Motorhome DONE (4): Our Big Closet and Big Bed 😀 - videos.trom.tf/w/euQtYUdu57etP…
We do not have many clothes and stuff, but this tiny motorhome has a lot of storage space so we could fit more than we thought. We also love our top bed - spacious and does not take any space from the living area. 😃
Motorhome DONE (3): The thing we didn't think we need videos.trom.tf/w/8ZALm9gfCUgdq…
This is a space that's usually ignored by most, and yet useful every single day. For storage, or as a table. We love our countertop 😃.
Relaxing at the river and getting a new carpet - videos.trom.tf/w/1M8iYmHeiVTLT…
Just a relaxing day at the river. Nice, cozy, calm. Nature 😃. We've also bought a big carpet to put in the motorhome to make it cozy and keep it clean.

Motorhome is DONE part 1: Security Systems
We finished renovating our motorhome and we want to present it in detail. In this first part we are showcasing what security measures we have taken to protect thieves from stealing our motorhome, or even breaking in.
We added a device to disconnect the car battery, a steering wheel lock, even some straps to lock the doors together.
